My First Drive Thru

Isa sa reason kaya gusto ko matutong mag drive noon is para makapag drive thru sa fastfood (seryoso) . Kaya nung natuto na ako yun ang isa sa mga una kong ginawa. Syempre excited ako nung first time ko. ako lang mag isa nun, natatandaan ko pa. Sa Jolibee yun pag pasok ko ng kotse sa drive thru may poster (tarp) pa ni Jolibee na nasa loob siya ng sasakyan tas may nakasulat na "drive thru" (hmmm. naisip ko pa nun pano kaya nagkasya si Jolibee dun sa SUV?). Tas eto na order na ko sa window "miss, isa nga regular yum with cheese, large coke, large fries". "Ok sir" sagot nung crew. Tas tinanong ako ng crew "Sir dine-in po or take out?" ako naman si engot sumagot "ha? ah eh. take out." Tas nagbayad na ako tas napagisip ako (hey! weytaminit) kaso too late na nakuha ko na order ko. That was my first time sa drive thru.

Buhay may asawa

Marami nagtatanong sa akin kung masarap ba ang buhay may asawa. Sabi ko masarap at mahirap. Masarap kasi alam mo na may nag ca-care sayo. Mahirap kasi kailangan mong magsumikap para sa family mo. Actually, maswerte ako sa napangasawa ko, kasi masipag siya, at isa pa pareho kami nagta-trabaho. Kahit papaano di kami hikahos kagaya ng iba. Maganda din kasi ang setup namin magasawa. Dahil nga pareho kami ng work kanya kanya din kami ng hatian sa gastos. Sa kanya ng bayad sa kuryente, tubig, cable, yaya, tsaka food pang araw-araw. Tapos ako naman ang tagabili ng dyaryo atsaka battery ng remote pag lowbat na. Sa pag-alaga ng baby hati din kami, siya yung nag-papaligo, nag titimpla ng gatas, nagpapatulog, ako naman ang nakikipaglaro. Kaya nagpapasalamat ako at napakaswerte ko sa asawa ko. kaya sa love ko "Happy Anniversary". I love you!

Airplane mode

one time, during one of my flights to Bacolod i overheard 1 couple arguing. Sabi nung girl sa boy

girl: nakakainis ka naman di mo naman sinabi dun airline staff na wag tayo sa row na to. puro pakpak lang ng eroplano nakikita ko. kakainis ka talaga.

syempre pande-explain yung boy na di nya alam na masakto sila dun sa row na yun. medyo matagal din sila nagaaway. Mali kasi yung boy, kung ako yun sasabihin ko sa girl "buti nga may nakikita ka, matakot ka pag wala ka nakita pakpak dito sa pwesto natin".

Bacolod

Hi, Still here at Bacolod, Nakaka six months na pala ako dito. Kung bagong job to regular na ko. Madami nagsasabi sa kin na dito na ko tumira, napagisip isip ko di pwede. Di naman sa racist ako ako pero di ako pwedeng maging ilonggo. Bakit? kasi half chinese ako eh, tapos maging ilonggo ako. eh di pag pinag add mo yun half chinese + half Ilonggo = "Chonggo" ang pangit nun di ba?

Megafight is off

Totoo ang balita. its final. di na tuloy ang laban nila Manny Pacquiao at Floyd Mayweather. Kakalungkot, it could have been the fight of the century. May topak kasi itong mag-amang mayweather eh gusto ba naman ay may olympics style na drug test ang gamitin, di naman yun ang nasa batas ng Nevada athletics. Sayang talaga. Sa sobrang buddies nya kay Triple H kala nya siguro nasa WWE siya na kailangan ng "storyline" bago ang laban. An Tanga m0! bwiset!!! Kung WWE to ang maganda dapat kayong mag-ama ang sabay na kalaban ni pacman at coach Roach sa tag-team hell in a cell - barbwired - inferno match. Ayus.

Sa mga fans ni pacman next laban nya ay sa March 13, 2010 sa cowboys stadium sa Dallas, Texas. kalaban niya si Joshua Clottey.

My son Jiro Luigi will be baptized this coming Sunday, October 25, 2009. All i can i say is i'm so excited.

Team Pilipinas - 8th place

After 1 week of competition, it is finally over. Team Pilipinas finished the tournament in the 8th place, one rank higher than their last outing. Their last three games are as follows:

Aug. 14 Philippines vs Jordan 70 - 81
Aug. 15 Philippines vs Qatar 65-83
Aug. 16 Philippines vs Korea 80-82

The teams that qualified for the world Championships are Iran, China and Jordan.
Kudos to Yeng Guiao and the rest of Powerade Team Pilipinas for their effort.

Well, as they say, Better luck next time.

Philippines vs. Kuwait

The Philippines secured 3rd place in the standings of group E after defeating Kuwait 85 - 71. Cyrus Baguio led the team with 14 pts. Team Pilipinas' next opponent is the 2nd place of group F and it will be determined later in a match between China and jordan.

Philippines vs. Iran

Iran proved to be too strong for the Philippines as the defending champs crush Team Pilipinas 88-78 in the ongoing Fiba Asia Tournament. The 7 foot Memphis Grizzlies player Hamed Ehdadi scored a game high 21 points and collected 6 rebounds. Willie Miller and James Yap scored 14 each for the Filipino squad who dropped their record to 2-2. The Philippines' next opponent will be against Kuwait on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 .

Philippines vs. Chinese Taipei

After three terrible shooting games, Team Pilipinas finally had a good shooting night as they scorched the net with a blistering 15 3pointers. James Yap led the barrage with 6 out of 11 3's towards his 23 point performance. Willie Miller added 17 points on 5/5 shooting from rainbow country as the Filipinos defeated Chinese Taipei 77-70.

Philippines vs. Korea

on the third day of the competition the Philippines lost to Korea 69-56. The Koreans controlled most of the game. The Philippines did not had the chance to take the lead to the much taller Koreans. The only bright point of the game was the spectacular plays of Cyrus Baguio who scored 16 pts. on 7 out of 10 shooting. August 10 will be the next game of Team Pilipinas against Chinese Taipei.

PHILIPPINES VS. JAPAN

Philippines wins its 2nd game of the tournament by defeating Japan 78-69. Sonny Thoss led team Pilipinas with 15 pts and Asi taulava contributed 11 pts and 8 rebounds. The Philippines started sluggishly in the game in which they trailed Japan 41 - 35 at the half. They started to come back late in the 3rd and the start of the 4th where Taulava scored 9 of his 11 pts. Next game will be against Korea on August 8, 09 at 9:00pm.

PHILIPPINES VS. SRI LANKA!

The Philippines wins the first game of the tournament with a overwhelming 115 - 31 win over Sri Lanka. Jared Dillinger led the team with 21 pts and Asi taulava contributing 15 pts and 13 boards. It was all Philippines right from the start as they begin the beating with an 8 - 0 run. Next game will be tomorrow, August 7, 2009 at 9:00pm against Japan.
